Frequently asked questions
How are QR code scans counted?
Each time someone opens a QR code's address, QR Manager counts one scan, anonymously. Robots and link previews are not counted. A unique scan is one person, once a day per QR code.
Does QR Manager use cookies or keep IP addresses?
No. Counting uses no cookie and stores nothing on the visitor's device. The IP address is only used at the moment of the scan, to find the country and to recognize the same person during the day through a salted daily fingerprint that is discarded after three days. It is never stored.
How long are statistics kept?
Daily totals are kept for 13 months, then deleted.
