What the app adds to your site
- A CMS collection QR Codes (slug
qr) with the fields Name, Slug, Destination URL, QR image and Active. Each code is one item, in every language of localized sites. - On its template page, built with the Designer API and editable in the Designer: a centered card with a loading state, a Continue button and an “inactive” message, styled with classes prefixed
qrm-. Restyle them freely: rebuilding never overwrites an existing class. - A small redirect script, registered with Webflow’s Custom Code API and applied to that template page only (visible in the page settings). It sends visitors to their language and to the destination, and sends one anonymous scan count, which you can turn off in Settings → Count scans. Sites authorized before this version keep the same script in a Code Embed.
- QR images stored in the CMS items. Uploads go through a temporary asset deleted right after: your Assets panel stays clean.
Nothing changes on your site when the app opens: only your clicks (build the page, create, edit, publish, delete) change it.
Permissions
| Scope | Why |
|---|---|
cms:read, cms:write |
Create the collection and manage QR code items in every language. |
assets:read, assets:write |
Temporary upload of the QR image, deleted right after. Your other assets are never read. |
sites:read |
Site name, languages and last publish date (setup assistant). |
authorized_user:read |
Check who uses the app in the Designer, and link your sites to your QR Manager account. |
custom_code:read, custom_code:write |
Register the redirect script, and remove it on disconnect. |
pages:read, pages:write |
Apply that script to the QR Codes template page only, and remove it. No other page is changed. |
Your Webflow access token is encrypted, used only by our servers, and never sent to your browser.
Disconnect the site
Settings → Connection → Disconnect the site, in the app (or Sites → Disconnect in the customer area):
- removes the redirect script from the template page (publish the site afterwards);
- removes the site from your QR Manager account and its team members;
- deletes what the app stored for it: templates, settings and scan statistics.
The app stays installed: Reconnect the site brings it back in one click, with no new authorization.
Uninstall
To remove the app’s access, uninstall it in Webflow (Site settings → Apps & Integrations). Webflow revokes the authorization and removes the script the app applied (at the next publish), and QR Manager deletes everything it stored for the site.
Your codes stay in your CMS. Without the script, their page shows the Continue button instead of redirecting by itself. To remove everything, delete the QR Codes collection and the qrm- classes; printed codes will then stop working.
